GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC MASSES OUTSIDE WITH 60 PEOPLE
St. Nicholas & St. William Parish is happy to be able to return to in-person Masses as of June 15. In accordance with Santa Clara County Health regulations, and with the support of our Bishop, we will implement a modified outdoor Public Mass schedule. As of July 13th, the County guidelines have allowed us to increase our Outdoor Mass attendance to 60 people. So, with 1 priest, we can accommodate 59 parishioners at each Sunday morning Mass at St. William.
These guidelines are meant to support a safe and reverent environment for all to gather and worship. Please note, people who are at risk or who are ill are asked not to attend Public Mass. The Parish cannot guarantee that there is no risk of infection for attendees.
• Masks must be worn at all times by those 6 and older; please provide your own.
• A single location and line will be used to enter the outdoor worship space.
• Social distancing of 6 feet is to be maintained at all times.
• Hand sanitizer must be used prior to entry; please bring your own.
• Because we are outdoors consider bringing a hat, sunglasses, and water.
• Refrain from physical contact with any other person.
• Ushers will guide you to your seat; at the end of Mass they will direct exit order.
• Restrooms will not available due to the high sanitary standards of the CDC.
• A basket for the offertory collection will be available during the Mass if you have not had a chance to sign-up for Online Giving.
• Please arrive 5-10 minutes before Mass to secure your reserved seat. At 5 minutes after the start of Mass (8:05 am, 9:05 am, 10:05 am, 5:05 pm) all open seats will be available to the general public.
• Kindly cancel your reservations if you are unable to attend.
